Note that the date of the AGN Annual Meeting on Clark Beach has changed to Saturday June 7.
The Earth Day clean up on April 19 was a big success with 50 volunteers blossoming forth compared to last year's 30 volunteers.
Some images will be made available soon. Many thanks to all who put their energy into this event.
The 2008 events schedule is now available on our Schedule of Events page and
the latest newsletter has just been posted 2-25-2008 at the link to it in the left column.
Saturday morning Jan. 26, 2008, Joe Quinn, Bill Fabri and a gaggle
of other supervisors "guided" a huge tractor
trailer loaded with our new bridge down to the circle
at the end of Bowdoin Road. The new bridge will replace a broken wooden
bridge and ease pedestrian access to Clark Beach.

A.G.N. 16TH ANNUAL TURKEY TUNE-UP RACE

About 75 participated on a cool Saturday, November 17th, for this popular
5-K ring around Great Neck family event. Metals were presented for 1st,
2nd and 3rd place in three walker categories and nineteen runner categories.
This year’s top winners were:
Top Male: Mike Telles
Top Female: Heidi Johnson
Top Youth Male: Campbell Fackre (2nd Year)
Top Junior Male: Paul Van Schyndel
Top Junior Female: Heidi Johnson
Top Submaster Male: Mike Telles
Top Submaster Female: Jane Troller
Grandmaster Male: Mark Hathaway
Grandmaster Female: Jane Sexton
Grand Senior: Dick Fates
Turkeys were raffled off at conclusion of the morning event. A big Thank
You to race organizer, Coach Paul Ingram and all the volunteers.
