2008

May 17 -- Triangle Clean-up, 9 am to noon; Many hands make quick work. Bring your tools to Great Neck entry triangle. Chairman: Dick Fates, 978-312-1150 or e-mail at rjfates23@comcast.net.

June 7 -- 31st AGN Annual Meeting at Clark Beach, 10 am; Election of officers, Committee Reports, Dedication of New Balch Memorial Foot Bridge, Free coffee and donuts. Chairman: President Sandy Colby, 978-356-3986.

July 12 -- Sunset Boat Cruise; "Captains II" out of Plum Island up the Merrimac River with dancing and food, singing permitted. Possibly limited to 120 passengers. Chairman: Paul Ingram, 978-356-7683.

Aug. 30 -- Labor Day Picnic; Lobster Feast & 50/50 Raffle at Clark Beach. Rain date Sunday Aug. 31. Food choices include lobster, steak, or hambuger and hot dog dinners. Chairwoman: Pam Ryan, 978-356-5241.

Sept. 21 -- Art by the Sea, 12 noon to 5 pm; At Ipswich Bay Yacht Club. Free admission and open to public. Beverages served. Sale of arts and crafts by Great Neck artists. Chairwomen: Joan O’Flynn 356-4460, Barbara Russell 978-356-7413 and Pam Ryan 978-356-5241.

Oct. 18 -- Pram Racks removed at Clark Beach, 9 am to 11:30 am; Pram owner volunteers get $10 off their rack fees. Chairman: Joe Quinn, 978-356-5038.

Nov. 22 -- Annual Turkey Day Tune-up Race; Bagels, water & coffee provided. Great T-shirts for participants available for purchase. Chairman: Paul Ingram, 978-356-7683.
